In my head
I see your face
Laughing
Smiling
Careless
Nary a frown
Your hair is long
Past your shoulders
Wavy
Thick
Black
As the night
You laze all day
But in your own way
Diligent
Caring
Loving
True as always
The truest friend
Keeper of secrets
Fair
Just
Ridiculous
When needed
Now youre grown
No longer a kid
Responsible
Adult
Mature
And in charge
I look at your face
Seeing my brother
And not
Older
Still young
Caring as ever
And also I see
A new face, too
Soldier
Fighter
Grunt
Hard working
Im frightened for you
Your futures unclear
Dangerous
Uncertain
But fun
So you say
You love what you do
Living with purpose
Freedom
Direction
Adventure
Its clear
So happy I am
Youve found yourself
In working
Driving
Training
And fighting.

go out on a limb,
thats where the fruit is
And our sister supports you too, in her own way. Yeah, she's scared for you, and yeah I'm sure she wishes you had chosen a different path, but she supports you.

A sincere smile is worth more than gold, and a true friend is worth more than the most precious of gems.
